Disneyland

 This year Andrew and Allie decided they wanted to go to Disneyland for the day instead of having parties (well, they both ended up with small low key parties anyway).  We were planning to be in Seal Beach for one last family get together at grams house, so we knew it would work out.  We headed down for Memorial Day weekend and sadly we were passing a bad flu bug around the family.  We had planned to go to Disneyland on Sunday, but when plans changed on Thursday due to sickness we ended up getting to Seal Beach earlier than expected.  We woke up Friday and everyone felt good, so we decided to go.  It was a good thing because I ended up in bed the rest of the weekend.  We enjoyed our day, despite it being quite crowded.  The kids aren't much into crowds so they did a great job of staying close and behaving wonderfully.  Thanks to Fast Passes we got on almost all the rides (except Fantasy Land).  Allie was a trooper and went on Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and Splash Mountain. The boys still loved getting autographs from the characters, but Miss. Allie was very afraid of them and even started to scream at Goofy.  We enjoyed the afternoon parade together.  The boys watched intently and Allie went from covering her ears to dancing and waving to all the princesses.  It was a great day with my kiddos and I loved seeing their excitement!!
