Andrew's 8th Birthday

 When it came to birthdays this year we talked about going to Disneyland as a family for a day instead of parties.  Everyone agreed, but then Andrew asked in such a sweet way..."Can I just have a few school friends for a bonfire?"  This party planning mommy couldn't say no, so I planned the most simple party yet....and it was wonderful.  10 boys came over on a Saturday afternoon.  They played soccer, football, and many other self created games.  We had pizza, snacks, and lots of water!!  I had made Andrew an ice cream cake that we enjoyed around the firepit.  The idea was to do s'mores, but most boys were too pre-occupied with playing soccer.  A few of them indulged in the yummy campfire treat.  It was a very relaxing night and everyone had a blast.  I so much enjoy watching these boys grow up together!  Allie had Cate come over and the two little ladies had such a good time together and were my little helpers!  Happy birthday Andrew!!!

 LOve these girls and they are hilarious together...must be the 2 older brother thing!!
