I LOVE Open House!! It's always fun to see all the work our kids have done throughout the year, visit with families, and enjoy a nice warm evening at our school. Both Luke and Andrew's teachers are AMAZING and work so hard with the kids. We enjoyed helping Luke's teacher Mrs. Salata set up a bit in the afternoon. It made it nice to see a bunch of Luke's work without a zillion people in the room. All their body cut-out were lining the fence. Luke is the one with #8 on it...it was a windy day, so they were blowing all over. He also built a wood skate park and painted a beautiful rock. In both rooms we read through so many wonderful papers and projects that the boys had done. Grandma and Grandpa also joined us for a bit and the boys loved showing off their rooms to them. We ended the night watching the 2nd grade parade and hanging our with friends. We love Ruhkala Elementary school and are very blessed by the teachers and staff there!
