First Day of School

Are my boys really growing up this fast?  I say it every year and every year when school starts I just can't believe it.  3rd grade and 1st grade this year!!!  Andrew is in Ms. Berridge's class.  It is a 2/3 combo.  He has a lot of his buddies in there with him, so he was very excited.  Luke has Mrs. Leavitt and he also has a bunch of his close friends in the class.  Our first morning went well with breakfast, extra treats, pictures, and a bike ride to school.  Mommy and Allie enjoyed a walk to coffee with friends and then a little spying on the boys at recess.  They both had a great day and seemed to adjust well.  They get to play together on the playground now.  Luke surprised us the most by getting out there and playing soccer with Andrew and all the other 3rd grade boys.  I never know with this boy...he can be super shy, but then do things like this that I wouldn't expect.  So far they have had a great time playing together and haven't complained about each other yet.  We look forward to a wonderful year.  We are blessed to have our boys at a great school and they have amazing teachers!  Here is to another year!
