We were excited to be in town this year to have our annual 4th of July parade and pancake breakfast. We invited the whole neighborhood this year, so we weren't quite sure how many people would show up. We had a great turn out of at least 150 people. Thankfully church let us borrow their portable sound system so we had a microphone and a loud speaker. The kids had a great time decorating bikes and scooters with the neighbors. We changed things up a bit and did the National Anthem and fireworks before the parade started. I love walking along with the music blaring and seeing all the kids waving flags and honoring our country. After the parade we had pancakes and the kids all played in the street. After we cleaned up and rested we went to grandma and grandpa's house to swim and bbq. It was a relaxing night of swimming with family and friends. We ended the night with a firework show out front with the kids!!
HAPPY 4th of JULY!!
