End of School Year...2nd, K, 3's
Everyone ended school on the same day this year. It was a busy day, and thankfully daddy took the day off to help out. The boys got off in the morning and enjoyed one last morning playing on the kindergarten playground before school (oh, they will miss that place ). After they were settled we took Allie who all of a sudden was Miss. Clingy and sad...I think I have a similar picture of her with Andy on the first day of school. Once she got in class, she was fine. We headed back to Ruhkala to check on Andrew because he wasn't feeling well. We happened to catch the teacher/student kickball game and got to witness the teacher's surprise flash mob. It was very cute and at the end they invited all the kids to come dance. I love the teachers and staff at our school! We picked Andrew up so he could go get ready for his full body scan that was quickly ordered the day before because he wasn't feeling well (as if it wasn't a crazy enough time!!) I went to Allie's ice cream party, where we said goodbye to Mrs. Restori and friends for the summer. We hurried back to Ruhkala for one last teacher luncheon BBQ. As soon as that ended we picked up Luke from his final day as a kindergartner. This always makes me sad...especially having to say good-bye to his teacher! AHHHH.....we all made it and school was out for the summer!! I'm so proud of each of my kids this year for all their hard work and attitude! We spent the afternoon swimming at grandma and grandpa's house and then Andrew had his full body scan. We were very surprised to get a phone call back within hours that everything looked great! Praise the Lord. We headed to a celebration dinner (for more than 1 thing) at a yummy pizza place at Quarry ponds. We sat outside on the patio overlooking the pond. It was beautiful and relaxing! HAPPY SUMMER!!
